Calculation Steps

What is LCM?

The Least Common Multiple is the smallest non-negative number that is a multiple of all the given numbers.

Example:

Multiples of 4:
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24...

Multiples of 6:
6, 12, 18, 24...

First common multiple:
12

Therefore:
LCM(4, 6) = 12

LCM and GCD Formula

LCM(a, b)

=

|a x b| / GCD(a, b)

For more than two numbers, the calculator finds the LCM step by step.

LCM(a, b, c)

= LCM(LCM(a, b), c)
